Saipan Project

The challenge of this project was to meet the customer's needs to design 190 rooms, by ensuring that each room had a unique view on the sea and that the tropical landscapes were valorized. The white coral reef, the multiple shades of blue and the contrast of natural colors was to be seen and felt in all intimate spaces such as the bedroom, the living room and the bathroom, to provide the visitors with a unique experience. Therefore, the architecture was structured through a detailed work of proportion and angles. Three perspective angles were selected when designing the hotel rooms and apartments: one angle is directed on deep waters, another on very shallow and clear waters and another one on intermediate waters. Moreover, in order to create a balanced framework between construction and nature, large vegetal spaces are located between each building and used as private gardens.
